Taipai is Clean

One thing that we mentioned but didn't elaborate on is how clean the capital city was.  Not just free of rubbish but the people are extremely well manned and do not litter.  Even if they smoke (and a lot do), they will almost always pick up their fag butts and dispose of them thoughtfully.

Taipei Airport

Is marvellous and we easily killed off time with it's food courts, free internet, shops and facilities.  And it's fairly priced too; a Zero (Coke) cost NT$ 20 either side of Immigration which is the same as 7-11s in town.  That's a first.

The 3/5 hour flight was a breeze as we had the spare seat between us and before we knew it we were back home.

That's the Way To Do It

Our NT$ 1 100 was well spent as it turned out to be a near limo experience and the driver, due to heavy congestion on the roads, had to take us the long way around and so we saw plenty of Taipei, including the docks, golf course and the shore line/

Great tour and all in the comfort of leather reclining seats and air con.  :o)
