Tim Vine has been judged to have the funniest joke of the Edinburgh Fringe.
The comic (who once set a world record for telling the most joke in an hour) was short-listed by comedy critics and then took 40% of public votes with:
"I've just been on a once-in-a-lifetime holiday. I'll tell you what, never again,"
I think his "acceptance speech" is better:
"I am very happy to win this award and I'm going to celebrate by going to Sooty's barbecue and having a sweepsteak." :o)
