That "Goal"

I watched the replay of the Man Utd v Spurs match and couldn't believe that the ESPN cameras missed the incident.  They were showing a replay of the penalty appeal  and the next minute it's all dummies being spat out by the Tottenham players with the ball in the back of the net.

Subsequent angles didn't pick it up clearly either but it seems Nani, who went over in the box reached out and grabbed the ball, which is clearly a free kick.  At least Gomes, our "keeper" thought so as he placed the ball to take the kick and then tried to steal some extra yardage (in my book, cheating) before lining up to take his punt up the field.

Nani then looks at the ref who waved play on and that's what he did, by sticking the ball into an empty net.

Yes, Nani handled and it should have been a free kick, but the ref missed it and so play goes on.  As said, one plays to the ref's whistle and nothing else.  The goal was correct but not the actions of the Tottenham players who acted like brats and embarrassed the club.  Gallas even started stamping his feet like a little girl?  WTF is all that about?

Redknapp reacted just as petulantly in his interview and if that is the example he sets his players. no wonder they act so shamefully.  Very poor.
