And with the onset of December, the Christmas season truly kicks off. It still freaks me out to see tree, decorations and snow men in 32 C heat and most have no idea about what it really means (does anyone any more?) but everyone loves the party season and the Thais rarely need an excuse to either party or have a sale.
Mind you, the seasonal tunes are also out with a vengeance and walking along the sky bridge, it's really weird to hear them being pumped out from hidden speakers in the open air.
