We went to the night market yesterday and I'm pleased to say that it once more getting back to its best following the revamp. We even get proper (backed) chairs as opposed to stools and the roof has been taken off to acknowledge the rainy season is behind us.
They have started the live music again too, which is starting to see the locals turning up and crowding the place out, which is good to see.
Last night we even had a live DJ who fancied himself as a comedian and he had the audience chuckling along with his no doubt hilarious one-liners. These went right over our heads naturally as it was all in Thai.
He did a walkabout through the tables chatting to the audience and stopped at ours to ask where we from.
"The hotel across the road" was my ever so witty reply, to which he rattled off a stream of comments, all of which no doubt aimed at me for clever arse with the crowd laughing their backs off. Top night for all. :o)
