Isn't technology wonderful?
We're now on the train, have set up the laptop and are Blogging "live" via the dongle. Speed seems good (so far) and this is all rather pleasant.
Michael, our driver, shifted us across to Vasco de Gama train station (the other station that serves this area of Goa) and it took a fraction under an hour at a fair cost of INR 800. We went straight onto the platform, found where our carriage was due to halt (A1) and found our bunks with little effort.
As before, the train is hot but the A/C soon kicks in and it will rapidly cool down, so that the blanket, sheet and pillow will readily come in handy. Other than that, we have access to the internet and all is well. :o)
