Compare & Contrast

Out of curiosity and that we need to get back to Bangkok early in December, we had a look at a few options and found that once again, Air Asia re the best VFM for our long haul flight.  We're also aware that flying out from the UK is now decidedly more expensive as can be seen from the above images- flight is for one person and does not include seat rservations or baggage allowance- that still needs to go on top yet.

If we knew our exact departure date we'd book this up now but I suspect we'll need a bit more time in Durham/Newcastle/Sunderland, so we'll have to be a bit patient until nearer the time, but compare this to KLM or China Airlines, this is almost half price.

Long haul flights are scary expensive now.  :-(
