Bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh for the five hour trip is $9. Tuk tuk from the city centre to the airport, a mere 30 minutes tops if the traffic is good is a standard $7.00. Something sure doesn't add up there.
It's worth mentioning that a standard taxi driver should charge $60, which if there were 3-4 of you, works out very well on your wallet. Even for two of you that could be worth a punt if you're feeling generous.
