Unlike many other ASEAN countries, you don't need a visa to visit and their allowed length of stay is also very generous. As a UK passport holder, we can remain in the country for up to 90 days without leaving. How I wish we had a similar choice in Thailand...
And as far as I am aware, we don't have to pay any departure tax when leaving from an airport. At least, I hope not. We won't have any cash left!
