Be aware that there is a departure tax to pay at Philippine airports and this varies from place to place.
Allow for around Ps 150 - 200 for domestic departures and up to Ps 800 for international trips. It's a bit naughty to do this and we prefer pre-paying it with the airline ticket, but if you know about it, it's not too much of a shock.
