Money-Spinner

The London Eye is officially the capital's biggest ever tourist attraction with record profits of more than £29 million last year, after more than 3.5 million people paid between £10 and £29.70 for a “flight” in one of the wheel's capsules.

The Eye made £29.1 million, up 18% on the previous year, on turnover of £56.4 million.  It is now more popular than the Taj Mahal and the Pyramids.
