We've mentioned the tuk tuk driver and their incessant shouts to get you to use their transport. We've found the best way to avoid any prolonged debates is to simply tell them you already have a driver (we do, we can always use Savong's School and the money goes to a good cause) but if you do need a ride, here's a rough guide to their rip offs prices.
- Short trip around town: $2
- Full day (8 hours): $15 (buy them lunch too, it's not expected but they'll be very happy)
- Half day: $8
