10 Twollars (Twitter Dollars)

Let's say you like a charity and want to raise awareness for it. You can write a Twitter message sending 10 "twollars" to that charity's twitter handle. You haven't technically donated $1, yet. Instead, a third party has to buy those 10 Twollars from the charity, which amounts to a $1 donation. So Twollars are an alternative currency pointing philanthropists toward causes with lots of Twitter support.



Twollars aren't just for charities. You can send them to friends and followers if you like their messages, too. Everybody gets set up with 50 free Twollars when they make an account.
