5.50 Norwegian Kroner
The 5-kroner coin has an empty circle in the middle, inspired by the holes in early coins that allowed merchants to carry and count them on strings. The leaves you might be able to make out on the back of the piece are acanthi leaves, which served as inspiration for the capitals of Corinthian columns.
