150 Kazakhstan Tenge
The newest design of the Kazakh banknotes is ... exotic. One of the only pieces of paper currency with a vertical image on the reverse, it somehow combines a winged snow leopard, the flag of Kazakhstan, the Coat of arms, warnings against counterfeit, fragments of the national anthem and the unmistakable observation tower that defines the capital city of Astana. The obverse of the banknote is an image of the Ministry of Finance seen through the outline of Kazakhstan. Now if only the U.S. Mint would take its cues from Robert Rauschenberg, we might have a similar banknote.
(Note: The 200 Tenge note is technically about $1.50)
