Was a scant 15 minute drive away and we whiled away the time with free internet access and the only flight that left on time. Good old Air Asia, and before long we were back in KK.
I think landing at night was a good thing as it looked far nicer than we recalled last year. That, and we were staying at a new hotel in the other side of town. More on the hotel shortly, but first a traditional rant at taxi drivers coming up next.
