Ow-Wah Plaza

Trying to get a bus to the part of town was fun.  We knew it was in the Daan district but had no idea how to pronounce it and our attempts led to much merriment for the locals.  Eventually we got through and were advised to get off at "Ow-Wah's Plaza" and get directions from there.

It took us ages to locate it on the map until it dawned.  They were referring to Howard's Plaza.  My how we chortled.  :o)

Alighting at said hotel (very posh) we, wifey navigated us to the Dandy and we made the walk in half the time we were expecting.  Along the way we were literally thrilled to see people all very conservative and gentle, no spitting in the streets, no selling of Viagra or guns and plenty of proper shops and good looking food places.

We are going to have a super time in Taipei.
