But are there any niggles? Yes, of course but none that would make you reconsider your stay for somewhere else.
I've mentioned the piped music but that was instantly solved, so what else is grating my cheese a tad? Well, the shower/bath set up. It's top quality gear and beautifully installed, but the shower screen makes it difficult to reach the taps unless you're a practising Olympic gymnast and worse, the shower head is fixed for someone who plays basketball.
For us little folk, it shoots right over your head and makes a fine job of drenching the back wall. Poorly positioned and should have an adjuster rail to suit all body masses and heights.
Another irritation is the door. Open it and the light comes on for a 5 odd second burst, which is fine if you're both leaving together during the day. Not so if one disgruntled bed partner has to nip downstairs to complain about music at 03:00 as wifey is left in the spotlight not once with my going out but again coming back in. And then at breakfast too...
Time to whip that bulb out, methinks.
There is only one lift which is noiseless, assured and smooth- but also slow and gets used by everyone around the clock. Including the cleaners/housemaids who carry their carts in the small cabin and used bedding, forcing you into the size of a hamster cage.
Most hotel staff get out and make way, but if they did that, they'd never get started/finished and so not only does one face tight conditions, we visit each and every floor almost every trip- and we're on the 8th of 11.
As said, minor stuff but really no need for it, but we like to give the full picture at ktelontour. Or am I just a gob shite?
