Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Things to keep an eye open for this year, apparently, as predicted by Stuff magazine:

Samsung ZX310: ultra-slim MacBook Air rival combines brawn and beauty.

Casio Exilim Tryx: swivelling and folding camcorder

Asus Eee Pad Slider: sliding keyboard with Nvidia Tegra 2 processor

Sony HDR-TD10 3D Handycam: dual high-definition sensors and a 3.5in glasses-free 3D screen

Misa Kitara: electronic guitar with multi-touch screen, gesture recognition and open-source software.

Monster Miles Davis Trumpet earphones: tiny, with steampunk styling and scintillating sound

Motorola Atrix 4G: smartphone that's a proper computer when plugged into its desktop or laptop dock

ContourGPS: helmet camera records movements and lets you use your phone as wireless viewfinder.

B&W Zeppelin Air: iPod dock streams music wirelessly from iTunes-running computers and iOS devices via Apple's AirPlay standard

LG SmartTV Upgrader ST600: promises to add video on demand, net browsing, apps and media streaming to televisions with an HDMI port.
