Green Cross Code

A Glasgow pantomime has had to change a pantomime costume after being told it was breaking the Geneva Convention.

In their production The Magical Adventures of Robin Hood, character Nurse Poltis originally wore a uniform with red crosses on the hat and tunic, but after being contacted by the British Red Cross, they were informed they were breaking the convention and could face prosecution, because unauthorised use of the Red Cross emblem is illegal.

The offending outfit will now feature green crosses instead.

I'd have banned the entire show- pantomimes are awful.  :o)
