We brought our Thai bank account book up to date yesterday and by doing so noticed an oddity. We've been paid interest.
OK, that may not seem so strange for you (although we got more in the few months than for an entire year at the Nationwide) but here's the rub. It quite clearly states that non-Thais will not be awarded interest.
I wonder how we managed that? :o)
