It was with great pleasure that I received an invitation to add an old pal to our Skype address book and it was even better when Brant put a call through to us shortly afterwards. It's been nearly five years since we last chatted but via video (we really have to set ours up again) we both saw and spoke to him and had a good catch up.
Skype really has been one of the biggest breakthroughs for us and I can recall reading an article on VOIP in one of the papers back in Oliwa, Poland in 2006. Having picked up on it, we popped out to buy a microphone and after downloading Skype and adding on some credit, we were chatting to our folks back in the UK for pennies.
It's made our travels so much easier.
