Please Go Away

Sepp Blatter's plan to set up an anti-corruption committee to police Fifa has been given a lukewarm reception and the the world governing body's president could face pressure from both powerful national associations and the grassroots as he seeks re-election.
Campaigning for a fourth four-year term as Fifa president, Blatter said:

"I will take care of it personally, to ensure there is no corruption in Fifa."

That in itself makes it ominous.  And since when is he going for re-election?  I thought he was finally giving up his crocked empire and now he's going for a 4th term?  The worst possible news.  :-(

More at the BBC and well worth the read.
