The only place to change currency didn't want to know and suggested our best bet would be a large bank in town. Oops, we may have trouble getting our Rupees exchanged but there was no way we were going to take a seventy quid hit at Chennai Airport. Thomas Cook? Thomas Crook more like.
Anyway, thanks to the advice from the Nationwide, we located what could possibly have been the only ATM at the airport and got our cash out without concern or delay. At least we had money now, but would our pick up be there?
