It's often by chance that you find a good place to eat and yesterday we once again got lucky.
A small corner shop was advertising pasta and listed a whole range of dishes (in Chinese) but every time we've walked past, it's been full and the food looks great. Simple pasta with a variety of sauces, either spaghetti or penne pasta which is oven naked and the prices were very fair, starting from NT$ 120.
We grabbed one of the few free tables and the waitress handed us a menu in English, which really helped. We had choices of size of dish, which sauce (white = cream, red = tomato, mix = both or three sauce = mix + chilli) and also which kind of meat (mince, chicken, tuna, sea food, bacon).
We both picked the baked pasta option and were rewarded with two bowls of red-hot cheesy goodness that tasted fantastic. Including a fresh orange juice, the bill came to just over NT$ 300 for the two of us and you can be sure well be going back before we leave.
