A "controversial" scheme allowing girls as young as 13 to obtain the contraceptive pill without their parents’ consent or seeing a doctor has been launched in the Isle of Wight.
Predictably the church and other campaign groups have warned it could promote promiscuity. And so what if it does? Better to make sure there are no unwanted pregnancies, surely?
Anyway, it's n big deal. In Thailand and other Asian countries they openly have the Pill on the shelves and you can buy as many as you want. The price is affordable too, which makes it a good thing all round.
