Now that the downer stuff has been covered, onto nicer things- like unexpected emails with good news.
Tree's brother (whom we haven't met yet) is going to be working in Sri Lanka for a year starting in February. Which is just a month or so before we land there and so we can hook up with him and catch up on gossip from back in the UK. Should be great fun, because if he is anything like his sister, it will be quite an evening or two.
How's that for a coincidence though? I wonder if he can sort out some tickets for the cricket? :oD
