More Shit From Shitander

I hadn't logged onto our Shitander account this year (bugger all in it, but I do periodically check) and on trying to do so, they've been messing around with the log in page and I ended up (after just two attempts to sign on) getting locked out.

They have re-worded the password/code/number sequences and spread the whole process over two pages which ensured I had no idea which field needed which data and ending up needing to ring their customer services account.

I dread their auto queue set up, with umpteen different keypad number entries needed, mechanical voices advising their thanks for my patience (like I have a choice?), ghastly computer synthed music and all round utter contempt they have for the customer.

And that they, unlike the Nationwide who charge 1.4 pence/minute according to Skype, stiff you for 8 pence/minute while they advertise their products to you.  Look, I don't give a toss, out me through to someone who will unlock my sodding account immediately.

*sigh*

Much frustration later, the chap I spoke to actually knew his stuff and I managed to get back on line rather quickly.  But what a waste of time to begin with.

Hopefully that will now be the end of any further problems with banks for a while but I am still puzzling over why we have been given interest with Bangkok Bank?  No idea but it's not something that I will be pursuing with them...
