Polite Plod

Manchester Dibble seem to be in awe of John Lewis's customer services as they have booked their Rozzers onto their training courses on how to be polite, and those who "perform well" could be rewarded with certificates, just like real shop workers.

Following the course senior Feds will contact victims of crime to ask if they were satisfied by their experience of the Filth.


While the course is being provided for free and so far 300 coppers have signed up to it, I do have to wonder who needs to be trained in manners?  Isn't being polite a natural response? 


Saying that, post office staff wouldn't know the first meaning of politeness...
