Heineken is to be the official beer of the London Olympics, with kiosks outside the stadiums, hospitality tents and the media bars all serving up the Dutch fizzy and tasteless lager.
So we have a British Olympics and claim (rightfully) to brew the best beer in the world, yet we sell off a prized spot of English heritage to a foreign company? Once again national pride takes a tumble and it's all about the loot.
