Having wolfed the previous 8 jalebis down almost in one sitting and very scrummy they were too, I went back to buy some more. I was initially charged INR 40 for the eight, which comes to INR 5 for each piece of sweetmeat.
This time I bought 12 and was charged the same, INR 40. The guy taking the order sure didn't make a mistake as he counted the cash out three times (as all traders do, they are very sharp with checking change) and so I wonder what the next bill will be. Oh yes, I will definitely be buying some more before we leave. :o)
