The guy on the opposite bottom bunk is extremely friendly (works for Dell) and he's been taking an interest in our travels through India so far. By coincidence he is actually from Kochi, where we started our adventures and he works in Bangalore, where we are eventually heading for.
The daughter is now back with us and has crashed on her mum's bunk and the mother is equally as friendly, offering me a cup of tea from the chai chappie walking up and down the swaying corridors.
Wifey is still dead to the world (how does she do it?) and I'm playing as per normal, so all is good and everyone seems cheerful; enough, despite the unscheduled delay. Life could be a lot worse.
