Nationwide have now introduced their new log on procedure using their card readers. You'll still have the option to gain access to your accounts on-line using your "memorable data" but they are now pushing to get everyone to use their new system.
I've tried both and they are simple to use, except when trying to make a bill payment using the new method. I was informed that it wasn't possible and to try later. Signing in via the original method allowed me to make my payments instantly.
