Indian Fuzz wielding sticks stormed hundreds of cricket fans who had been lining up in vain to buy tickets for India's high-profile World Cup match against England at Bangalore. Thousands of fans had camped overnight outside the 50 000 seat M Chinnaswamy Stadium in the hope of buying a ticket for Sunday's Group B game, but the 7 000 available tickets were sold out in just 3 hours.
We're hoping to catch the Pakistan v Zimbabwe game in Kandy on the 14th March- that's the only one we can get near to on our travels. Hopefully the neutral games will not be anywhere near as popular. Watching most of the games that don't feature the host nations, there are plenty of empty seats- let's hope that continues until the knock pout rounds.
