It seems a mother and daughter were hoping the bottom bunk was going to be free but a pleasant chap had booked it and now they will have to sleep in different compartments. They did ask if he would swap but he said he needed the power point and desk as he has work to do and therefore declined.
The daughter didn't seem overly keen at kipping elsewhere but mum's sent her off and we can all settle in for the evening. If I was on my own I would swap, but again, if you pay for your reservation, you should be able to enjoy it without the guilt factor. And he (as I) needs the power point for his laptop too.
Morale of the story, if you want it, book it in advance and you won't be disappointed.
