Somwhere to Stay in Sri Lanka

Wifey has spent hours trying to solve our accommodation concerns on landing in Colombo on Friday, and we've finally had confirmation of somewhere to stay nearby.  We're getting picked up by the guest house from the airport, we have a reserved room for at least two/three nights and while I am sure it's not going to be exactly what we wanted, it beat sleeping on the platform.

We'll be at the Marine Tourist Guest House, which is situated in Negombo, some 7-8 km outside of the capital and on the beach.  Due to trying to find somewhere to crash, we now hope to visit Galle, Kandy and finally Colombo on the way back with a two night stay over on a tea plantation in Koslanda.

That will probably be the highlight of the tour (unless we get cricket tickets) as Joby is going to be showing us around behind the scenes.  How lucky are we?
