TripAdvisor Review

I certainly wasn't expecting our current accommodation to be listed in their database and when we went to upload our review, indeed, they couldn't find it.  This is not the first time they've done this and usually you send in the name, address and website of the gaff and after a couple of days they advise it's now been included and you can send in your review.

Unfortunately, Annie's place (not real name, it's officially called "Princess Dona") is a little anti IT and has neither web address or email, just a mobile number and they have informed us that as they haven't been able to confirm the place, they aren't going ot include it on their database.

Judging by the swiftness of response, I suspect that they didn't try too hard and that if you haven't a form of electronic identity, TripAdvisor will ignore you.  While I can understand a little more effort needs to be made to check for authenticity, I do find this criteria a little rigid and even elitist.

No matter, as ever ktelontour will publish its review (next) for real travellers to get the whole picture without prejudice, embellishment or bias.  We do it for real.
