Brass Monkeys

I'm not quite sure exactly what current the temperature is, but it's really dropped and all the staff and locals are wearing long sleeves, woolly jumpers and are shivering.  It's suddenly turned much colder and Mr S is saying that this is the first time in his living memory (so at least 40 odd years) that Thailand has ever had this kind of "weird" weather.  Usually it will be stifling now as we approach the beginning of summer.
