Can't say the anti-bios are helping much at the moment, although the voice quality is slowly starting to return to normal, I can barely swallow without discomfort. Not only that but wifey also wants to take off the nurse's uniform and hit the sick bed as she woke up yesterday morning with a bout of gut rot and we suspect a does of food poisoning.
Which is a shame as the proposed trip to Chatuchak Market with Maggie didn't happen due to the lack of toilet facilities and they stayed a little closer to the more accessible Siam Centre area for a few hours. The company and shopping failed to rally the fight against nausea and so we both ended up in bed feeling a tad sorry for ourselves.
It matters not as we cleared the final 6 or 7 episodes of House and quite frankly rate series 5 as the best so far. Universal is reshowing series 4 and we started to watch series 7 in Cambodia, but neither of us have laughed so much at House's antics in number 5.
In between bouts of coughing, spluttering and runs to the bog, we still managed to have a rather good Sunday afternoon and hope to do the same again today. This time we have the box set of the first series of Modern Families to occupy our time as we stumble up the path to recovery.
Don't expect much over the next day or so on here, I'm only on now as I had a nasty coughing attack and don't want to keep wifey up- she barely got much sleep last night on her return trips to the bathroom, but we'll do our best.
Even a sick day or two is by far better than a fit day back in the UK. And that says it all. :o)
