Due to my current position of almost silent throat death (but I can still type) I couldn't ring back to the UK on Skype this weekend. Apparently my father's Skype set up was one of those affected by the recent problems, so we couldn't have had a video chat anyway, and that's a pity as the Bank Holiday in the UK saw my brother, his wife and his four kids head off down to Southend on the SE coast of England.
It's an annual thing to see the famous air show and it would have been good to see everyone together for the first time since the latest addition to the ever increasing children quota. Sorry folks, wasn't up to it yesterday but I hope the weather was kind and Red Arrows did their thing.
