Getting Too Close For Comfort

We just had another US$ 100 bill refused as it had two tiny staple holes in it.  It's entirely our fault of course, we should have been more vigilant, or perhaps we should have taken the advice of only bringing in new notes more seriously (it was the same in Vietnam but nowhere as stringent as here) but we can't afford to have any more cash refused or we'll be in trouble.

Fortunately though it is far better value for money than we anticipated and so we're saving a bit which should see us through and hopefully we will not have to change any more dollars into Kyats.  We can then off the rejected bills at the Bureau de Change for some cash to take into the Philippines before hitting the ATM.

The hotel arranged to have our dollars converted and again we got the going rate of Ks 950 per dollar which is the best we've seen since we've been here.
