Post cards have been written and are now heading off to arrive sometime, hopefully. To date, the only set not to make it to their destination are the ones from Indonesia but all other countries managed to get them delivered as necessary and I am sure Myanmar will be no different.
The low cost of the cards and stamps did cause us a little concern (Ks 100 for a card and just Ks 50 for an international stamp) so we bravely entered the post office to check and make sure. It was quite a pleasant ordeal as it was cool inside and empty. The one counter burd looked at our cards and confirmed that yes, that was indeed the postage required to send the card off.
Can you believe it's only 3.5 pence per stamp and the cards are just seven pence? Unbelievable.
