As previously in Yangon, we cannot just pay for the additional nights at Reception as we had booked via an agent; we would have to cough full walk in rate- US$ 55. Ouch. However, the manager was very accommodating and arranged for his staff to call the agent we'd used and they arranged our over stay by telephone..
And talk about trusting, she said we could pay her when we came back to Yangon next week. Imagine that in the UK?
Another example of how to bring your costs down- we only pay US$ 37 a night here which is a bit top heavy for our budget but worth the extra. With wi-fi, pool and a super comfy room, this is possibly the best accommodation we shall have during our tour of Myanmar.
