We're finding it fairly difficult to find reasonably priced restaurants that serve good food (most is a bit suspect, it has to be said) but we come across a large Chinese eatery which looked suitable. The menu was extensive but had no prices on it however, after our last experience at the Indian place a few days ago, where we had stuffed out on many dishes and got a tiny bill, we figured we'd give it a go.
My food was good (deep fried pork balls and chicken stir fried rice) but wifey was disappointed with her fish balls and veg/rice mix (it was drowned in MSG so authentic at least) and we shared a litre bottle of water. The bill rather shocked us though. It came to just under Ks 1 500, which is a tenner plus and waay too expensive for these parts and the style of food.
A pity the waiter felt the need to cheat a couple of tourists as we shan't be going back and he loses out in the long term.
