The guys all had a memorable trip out to see the elephants and tigers and while they all agreed it was worth the effort, I think most would not do it again. The reason? Stupid o'clock starts to the day.
Who comes away on holiday to get up at 05:30? Not many and while I can forgive early-ish starts, I'm not sure I'd be over keen to be out from that time of day to gone 17:00 when they finally got back. I'd much prefer a more relaxed itinerary and perhaps spread the sight-seeing over two days?
Unfortunately in this case, that wasn't possible as both parks/sanctuaries are well out of town yet close to each other and it would not make much sense to visit one and not the other at the same time. Maybe accommodation should be closer to the venue?
Apparently the hotel was extra posh though and the facilities were first class with a pool and a proper thick mattress. Most of the guys prefer it softer than the current grade of rock hard (which I happen to prefer) and so the hotel's bed was a real treat.
It's just a pity they didn't get enough time in them. :o)
