A benefit cheat has been jailed after his seven-year-old son spilled the beans on the family’s Caribbean cruise- in a Blog.
The guy took his wife and three kids on a six month holiday to St Lucia while defrauding the taxpayer of nearly £30 000 in benefits. Investigators’ suspicions were aroused by unexplained deposits in his account and cash withdrawals in the Caribbean but the Blog proved decisive.
A newsletter posted on--line by the boy’s school also urged pupils to follow their progress across the world.
