We Have a Connection

And while the signal is very strong now, the speed is piss poor at just a measly 1.0 Mbps.  To help, I've added the dongle and between the two it's a lot speedier.  I suspect that they are in fact not working in conjunction with each other but since the photon + has kicked in, it's definitely quicker.

Anyway, we're back on air and I'll have a little while before we go off exploring.
