Altogether Now

It is not just Britain that is jumping forward in time on Sunday, time zones across the EU will do so as well after daylight saving time was synchronised in 2001 to help cross-border transport.

A campaign is currently being led by the 10:10 Lighter Later pressure group, which proposes shifting Britain's clocks forward of GMT by one hour in the winter and two hours in the summer, giving longer evenings all year round.

The Daylight Savings Bill has passed two readings in Parliament and is now awaiting committee stage, although PM Cameraman has vowed he will not make such a change unless all British citizens support it.  Which is typical of the weak chinned milk sop- he just loves to sit on the fence.
