First Dates

While women expect to split the cost, men prefer to play the "hunter gatherer" role and stick to first date tradition by taking responsibility for the full amount of the bill.  Double the proportion of women (58%) expect to split the bill on a first date as men (at 26%), but 55% of men expect to pay the full bill on a first date.

The survey also found that men spend on average of £65 on a first date compared to women who spend £50.  A total of 38% would use discount vouchers on a first date.

Sixty quid?  That would include a room at a hotel here!
