Sitting at the hotel bar, watching the F1 repeats and chatting to Mr S, a tall lady came up and ordered a beer in perfect English. Her boyfriend/husband arrived slightly afterwards and wanted just a water, to which she teased him- in German.
I passed her her beer on and said that beer is always tastier anyway, also in German and she seemed quite surprised that I could speak the language. We made small talk while she waited for her change and then she sent over a beer for me.
The Imm Fusion is still doing their BOGOFs on Chang and as they were leaving later that night, she could only drink one and so I ended up with her spare. Lucky me. :o)
